The beauty of Antelope Canyon is undeniable and truly comes to life when sunlight filters down the curved sandstone walls to create a constant shift of patterns and shadows.These shifting patterns reveal subtle shades of color while a single beam of light streams through the upper canyon to illuminate what appears to be a sculpted face in the rock.
This was a true highlight of my Upper Antelope Canyon tour since our guides timed the walk perfectly so we would arrive just before the beam appeared in this narrow corridor. It was amazing to watch that thin stream of light enter the space and slowly track its way across to the opposite wall
