The beauty of Antelope Canyon is undeniable and as sunlight filters down the curved sandstone walls constantly changing patterns and shadows in many subtle shades of colour it brings the canyon walls to life. Here a beam of light streams through the upper canyon walls in front of what appears to be a sculpted face in the sandstone wall.
This was one of the highlights on my Upper Antelope Canyon tour. Our guides had this timed perfectly so that we would arrive just moments before a light beam would appear in this small dark corridor. It was incredible to see a thin stream of light appear above the sculpted head and to see it gradually make its way to the wall on the opposite side of the room.
