Bridal Veil Falls

Bridal Veil Falls is just one of the many amazing waterfalls along the Historic Columbia River Highway. It is only a short drive down the road from the famous Multnomah Falls, yet it feels like a world away. This series of cascading falls totals about 35 metres in height and is unique as the only waterfall in the area that sits below the scenic highway.
I was fortunate enough to have the entire place to myself when I arrived, allowing me to really soak in the atmosphere. Standing at the base of the falls is incredibly impressive as the water crashes down with so much power right in front of you. I took this shot from an upper viewpoint to capture the full flow of the water as it drops through the lush greenery.
