There’s no need to hike at all to see amazing waterfalls in Oregon, this beautiful view of Latourell falls is from the viewpoint at the carpark. The 249ft free falling plunge makes it one of the more unique waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge and it’s also the third highest waterfall in the area and fifth highest in Oregon.

 

From here a path leads the way down to the base of the falls where the small bridge is, and you can even walk right up to the bottom of the waterfall. A must do, is standing directly under the waterfall for a photo
