With a dramatic 249ft free-falling plunge, Latourell Falls is one of the most striking and unique features of the Columbia River Gorge. This perspective captures the sheer scale of the falls as they drop vertically from the towering basalt cliffs, standing as one of the most iconic natural wonders in Oregon.
I wanted to emphasize the incredible height and the clean, vertical lines of the water as it plummetted toward the canyon floor. The contrast between the dark, textured rock and the bright white of the falls creates a powerful, minimalist feel that brings the raw energy of the Pacific Northwest into any space.
