Mirror Falls
Mirror Falls | Lamington National Park, Queensland, Australia
Some of the most beautiful waterfalls in Lamington National Park are found along the Albert River Circuit. While this is one of the longer hikes in the area, the trail is well worth exploring for the incredible scenery you encounter at every turn. Mirror Falls is located about half way along the track and stands as a true highlight of the journey.
As you can see here, the falls look spectacular after a period of heavy rainfall. The water plunges down the rock face with impressive power, flowing over moss covered rocks to bring the surrounding rainforest to life. Reaching this spot requires a bit of effort due to the distance of the circuit, but the view of the cascading water makes every step of the hike rewarding
