One of my favourite drives in New Zealand has got to be the long stretch of road from Queenstown to Glenorchy. The road winds alongside Lake Wakatipu and the scenery all around here is so breathtakingly beautiful that it’s hard to keep your eyes on the road.

 

About half way, at a place called Little Paradise you can pull off the side of the road to see this old broken-down wooden jetty, the water here is aqua blue and it’s surrounded by beautiful snow capped mountains. A 10-stop filter attached to my camera allowed me to shoot this 30 second exposure during the middle of the day giving the water the a silky smooth look. Pretty happy how this turned out
