Golden Gate Bridge

The Golden Gate Bridge is an essential stop in San Francisco and easily one of the most recognizable landmarks on the planet. When it was finished in 1937 it stood as the longest suspension bridge in the world. Even though it has since been surpassed, it remains a massive engineering feat that is honestly pretty damn impressive to stand beneath in person.
Thick fog is a staple of the city and it completely swallowed the bridge for most of our trip. The morning of this shoot was no different. I hiked down to Marshall’s Beach on the city side where the low tide had pulled back to reveal rocks draped in green seaweed. This perspective allowed me to capture the heavy fog as it turned a nice shade of pink just before sunrise.
