Golden Gate Bridge

Golden Gate Bridge – San Francisco, CA

A definite highlight of San Francisco and a must visit landmark is the Golden Gate Bridge.  The bridge was the longest suspension bridge span in the world when completed in 1937. It no longer holds that title today however the bridge is still one of the most iconic and beautiful bridges in America and it’s pretty damn impressive when you see it in person.

Fog covered the bridge for most of the time we were in San Francisco and the morning I shot this was no exception.  This shot was taken from Marshall’s Beach on the city side of the bridge.  The low tide exposed the seaweed covered rocks and also allowed me to get closer to the bridge to capture the fog picking up a nice shade of pink just before sunrise.
