There is a specific energy on the beach right as the sun clears the horizon. I caught this moment just as a surfer crossed the sand, his silhouette centered right in the middle of the rising sun.
I liked the symmetry of the scene and how the golden light caught the spray off the waves as he made his way down the beach. It really shows that early morning rhythm of the coast and that quiet feeling you get before the day starts.
