Ocean Embers
Burleigh Heads, Queensland, Australia
This was one of the most incredible mornings I have ever seen at Burleigh Heads. The sky was flooded with an orange glow that pushed back the deep blue of the early hour. A long exposure captured the water as a soft mist that appears to settle into every gap between the dark rocks.
The dark basalt stands out against the white water and creates a scene that feels completely still and calm. Watching the morning light break across such a still landscape is a powerful experience that stays with you long after the sun has risen.
