Golden Rays
Burleigh Heads, Queensland, Australia
The morning at Burleigh Heads began with a heavy layer of cloud sitting low on the horizon. Just as the sun rose, a small gap opened in the cover. Instead of shining down onto the waves, the light broke through the opening and flared upward in sharp, glowing rays that reached high into the sky.
In the foreground, the dark rocks and a weathered log sat along the shore, providing a solid base for the scene. The way the light burst through the clouds created a heavy sense of drama, acting like a natural fan of light spreading across the morning air. It was a brief moment where the clouds and the sun aligned to create a powerful display of light and shadow.
