Crimson Pillars
Great Ocean Road, Victoria, Australia
I saw quite a few great sunrises along the Great Ocean Road on this trip but this one really stands out. As the sun broke over the horizon the whole sky just transformed into these incredible shades of pink and orange. I couldn’t ask for anything more, what a spectacular view!
Most people don’t realise that these two limestone stacks are actually called Gog and Magog. They aren’t part of the actual Twelve Apostles which sit on the other side of the platform behind where I was standing. Seeing the morning light hit these two was a massive highlight and a view I won’t forget.
